So yeah, I haven't been out shooting much, so I've been going through my insane amount of photos and posting whatever strikes me, so apologies if everything isn't top notch, interesting, or particularly deep, though I don't know that anything I've posted fits any of those criteria anyway.

So it was 3:45 the other night and insomnia had me cleaning my room. I stumbled upon a piece of red plastic, just like the kind used in 3d glasses, but a little thicker. Being the lunatic I am, the first thing that popped into my head, was that I could tape it over my camera's flash and experiment with it...so I did. The pictures, taken in total darkness, were coming out totally red, and with some light, they had orange hues to them, and the colors reminded me of effects used in a shitty, low budget, slasher flick, so I took a few pictures to mess around with that theme. None of them, in my opinion, are anything special, but I haven't update

So I just found out I'm getting a nice $430 tax rebate, so the quest is on to find the right new camera. Now the thing is, I like taking pictures in low lighting, but my current camera has trouble focusing, and it has terrible range. I think I want to stick with digital, as I can't afford an SLR, and a nice 35mm would leave me scanning my pics in, so I'd lose quality that way...there's also photo cd's when I get them developed, but I don't have the kind of money to keep developing pictures, so again digital's still the way to go. So I'm thinking I can get a good digicam with manual focusing abilities and better light sensitivity for $400-$450
